AMT has been working for the past year with officials in Caguas, Puerto Rico and its global partners on a novel transit solution to connect Caguas with San Juan. On March 1, 2012, AMT held a press conference in conjunction with local government officials.

On January 4th and 5th, AMT was proud to host more than 100 scholars and academics from universities around the United States who attended the 2011 National Science Foundation Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation conference, which focused on Engineering for Sustainability and Prosperity. On October 5th, President and CEO of American Maglev Technology visited Puerto Rico to discuss the potential for a project in the city of Caguas. The meeting was held at the Caguas City Hall. Groupo ACS and Metro Mexico Visit

On Thursday July 15, 2010 our strategic partners from Groupo ACS came into town for meetings with a group of Engineers from the Metro Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. Later that night we all were able to go to the Braves game and watch the Braves beat up on the Milwaukee Brewers. On Friday the 16th, our friends from ACS and the Metro Mexico came out to the test track for some more meetings and to ride the train. Below are some pictures from their visit.
