Georgia Tech Visits the Test Track
On March 25, 2009, a contingent from Georgia tech visited AMT’s maglev Test Track. During the visit, the group learned about the principles behind AMT’s technology and we able to experience magnetic levitation firsthand. Included in the group were: Rodger Richardson, Brett Haistey and Groum Gedle, Delta Sigma Corporation; John O’Keefe, Deputy District Director for Congressman Phil Gingrey; Richard S. Cowan, PhD, PE Georgia Institute of Technology; Chris Downing, P.E., Director, Industry Services Enterprise Innovation Institute; Stephen Fleming, Chief Commercialization Officer, Enterprise Innovation Institute; Tim Israel General Manager, Process Improvement, Enterprise Innovation Institute; John Mills, P.E. Director, SBIR Assistance Program; Lawrence F. Kahn, Ph.D., P.E., Professor School of Civil & Environmental Engineering; Haiying Huang, Assistant Professor School of Civil; Craig Cochran, North Metro Atlanta Region Manager, Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute; and Environmental Engineering; and Isaac Dodoo, Deputy District Director for Congressman David Scott.
